NOTICE: 2011 Tax
Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to Section 1428 of the Real Property Tax Law, the Warrant and the Tax Roll for the Collection of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson has been filed with the Village Treasurer for the Fiscal Year 2011 to 2012. Taxes will be received beginning March 1, 2011 at the Village Office, 325 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., daily from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 4 PM except Saturdays, Sundays and Legal Holidays until and including April 2, 2011, without penalty.
Beginning April 3, 2011, a five percent penalty will be added for the month of April and an additional one percent for each month thereafter until paid.
Tax Books will remain open until the 31st day of October 2011 when they will be closed and any amount remaining unpaid will be turned over to the Commissioner of Finance of the County of Orange.
Penalty interest will be five percent for April, six percent for May, seven percent for June, eight percent for July, nine percent for August, ten percent for September and eleven percent for October.
For your convenience, taxes may be paid by check or money order and forwarded by mail, for which an official tax receipt will be returned.
Section 11-1118 of the Village Law provides that any unpaid water rents
shall be included in the annual tax levy and included in computing penalties.

VILLAGE OF CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON PLANNING BOARD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LOT 8 OF HAMLET GROVE RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 7:05 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard at the Village Hall, 325 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York 12520 to consider site plan approval for the erection of a single family dwelling on lot # 8.
This application is per the View Preservation District regulations at Article XIV of the Zoning Code of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Lot 8 is located on the lot adjacent to and north of the carriage house lot in the approved ten (10) lot subdivision known as “Hamlet Grove” on Pine and West Streets. Lot 8 contains approximately 15,530 square feet of land and will front on West Street.
The application and plans may be inspected at the Village Planning Board office during normal business hours. The Planning Board, as the Lead Agency for the purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), previously has adopted a Negative Declaration also on file with the Planning Board office. Written comments may be submitted prior to or at the public hearing. Oral comments may be made at the public hearing. Persons may appear in person or by agent.
