Robert Borland as applicant and property owner (the “Applicant”), for area variances from §172-43 C of the Village Zoning Code (the “Code”) to allow for the construction of an in-ground swimming pool with a side yard setback of 5 ft., when the Code requires 30 ft., and a rear yard setback if 10 ft., when the Code requires 30 ft.

Applicant is seeking to amend previously approved site plan to remove the use of the garage as an accessory space use to specialty shops.

Applicant is also seeking site plan approval to demolish said garage and to construct a mixed-use two-story (six-bays 1,500 sq. ft. garage on the first floor and two 800 sq. ft. apartments on the second floor). Both uses are permitted by right of the SR/CBS overlay district.

 

  1. Approval of Resolution - Lot line 191/211 Bay View (Continuation)

Applicant seeks the consideration of a subdivision application (boundary line change), submitted by Sheldon Stowe; Sumant Kulkarni; & Rajni Tyagi.

The subject properties are located at 191 Bayview Avenue, also known as Tax Map Section 109, Block 1, Lot 15.41 and 211 Bayview Avenue, also known as Tax Map Section 109, Block 1, Lot 14.2.The Applicants are seeking to transfer 0.1277 acres from 211 Bayview Avenue to 191 Bayview Avenue.

Donahue Memorial Park: Paring & Boat Launch Permits
  • Parking and boat launch permits may also be obtained through the mail. Parking Permit Application forms are located on the Village website under the tab for Village Clerk. You can return the application form, a copy of the vehicle and/or trailer registration, and fee in an envelope and place in the drop box marked “BILLS” on the parking lot side of Village Hall or drop off during regular business hours.
  • Day Passes are available at Village Hall and several Village businesses including Village Pizza (845-534-3600) and 2 Alices.
    Visitors may also obtain Day Passes through the ParkMobile App, which is available by cell phone. Village police can monitor whether a car has a pass by checking the car’s license plate.
    Parking is allowed only in designated spaces. Cars without permits or passes are subject to ticketing and towing. When a car is towed, the driver should call the Town of Cornwall dispatcher (845-534-8100) to request that a Village Police Officer contact him/her.

  • Effective Immediately: The collection facility the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Department of Public Works, uses for our recycling drop off are no longer accept recycling in plastic bags.
