Bicycle Patrol Unit

The Village first purchased a police bicycle in 1997, adding a second Trek 800 in 1999. Any officer utilizing a police bicycle has completed a 40-hour police bicycle school and although these bikes are used mainly at special events, offer an alternative to normal vehicle patrol.
