J Rock Holding, LLC- 294 Hudson St Applicant is requesting an interpretation to determine whether the lesser setback provisions in §172-53.2 of the Village Zoning Code (the “Code”) apply to the subject property. If §172-53.2 applies to the subject property, the Applicant will need only one variance to allow a westerly setback of 0.54 ft., for a 229 square foot addition to a home, where §172-53.2 requires 7.5 ft. for a side yard setback.

 

Christy and Roland Larkin- 28 Payson Road-  Applicants are requesting a variance from §172-43C of the Village Zoning Code (the “Code”) to allow for the construction of an in-ground swimming pool in the rear yard of the property, with a 16 foot side yard setback for each side, when the Code requires side yard setbacks of 20 feet.

 

Roberto and Toni Minuta- 24 Church St- Roberto and Toni Marie Minuta as owners and applicants, seeking variances from Section 172-54.C of the Village’s Zoning Code and Section 139-17.C(1) and 139-17.D of the Village’s Subdivision Regulations to allow access to a public street from a private right-of-way in accordance with New York State Village Law Section 7-736.  The applicant is proposing to construct one additional single-family home on the subject land proposed to be subdivided.

Donahue Memorial Park: Paring & Boat Launch Permits
  • Parking and boat launch permits may also be obtained through the mail. Parking Permit Application forms are located on the Village website under the tab for Village Clerk. You can return the application form, a copy of the vehicle and/or trailer registration, and fee in an envelope and place in the drop box marked “BILLS” on the parking lot side of Village Hall or drop off during regular business hours.
  • Day Passes are available at Village Hall and several Village businesses including Village Pizza (845-534-3600) and 2 Alices.
    Visitors may also obtain Day Passes through the ParkMobile App, which is available by cell phone. Village police can monitor whether a car has a pass by checking the car’s license plate.
    Parking is allowed only in designated spaces. Cars without permits or passes are subject to ticketing and towing. When a car is towed, the driver should call the Town of Cornwall dispatcher (845-534-8100) to request that a Village Police Officer contact him/her.
